Factory acceptance test

Once it has been manufactured, our engineers will complete a series of checks and assessments on your air handling unit called a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). This verifies that the components and installation match the design, that the unit is configured correctly, and that it meets design specifications such as HTM03:01, VDI6022, and BS EN1866. This takes place both during and after final assembly. Our team will also test the fan rotation and vibration, complete an air tightness test, a filter DOP test, and a point-to-point electrical test. They’ll also provide training for your site engineers on how to change motors, filters, and safely remove the door guard. Completing a FAT will assure you that your new air handling unit safe to use and will operate as specified. All the results and documentation will be readily available to you through our secure client portal, including:
